Our Coffee

Established in 1983 but originating from Gennaro’s childhood. As a young scugnizzo of Napoli, Gennaro would help his brother-inlaw deliver green coffee from the port to local Neapolitan coffee roasters. Afterward, he’d tie his pant legs and fill his pants with remnants found in the back of the truck to bring home for his mother to roast on the stove. This was what ignited his passion for coffee.
Traditional coffee with a modernized twist, Torrefazione Gennaro is the integration between generations.
Following Gennaro’s groundwork, his son embarked on his own coffee journey, establishing and earning his reputation in the specialty coffee community. Connecting with his Italian roots, culture, and heritage began his pursuit of combining traditional and modernized coffee roasting and blending.
